Hey there!

I am Bree Franz. I am a hobbyist, self taught lifestyle photographer. My husband, Erik & I also own a local coffeehouse called Still Waters in the Gray area of Johnson City, Tennessee! Owning a coffeehouse has been my dream since I was 19 and that dream came to life when we opened our doors on January 11th 2020!

Our family moved here on October 10th, 2016 from Baltimore, MD & know without a doubt that God led us here. I was born in Florida, raised between both Maryland & Florida but are extremely blessed that my family gets to call this place home now.

 

I have two kiddos and a wonderful husband who mean the world to me!

Coffee & Photography are my passions (duh).

I have a passion for adoption & hope one day my family has to opportunity to do it.

I have been incredibly blessed with a wonderful church family at Hope Church!

I enjoy Kombucha, reading, camping, fishing, soccer, volleyball, singing (I have performance anxiety so you probably won't ever hear me.), spending time with friends & family as well as road-trips!

I have a sweet Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie Mix). Her name is Evee (yes, after the Pokemon).

Photography has always been a passion of mine since High School. I started doing it as a hobby in July of 2014 & love it so much! I came across a quote by Don McCullin; "Photography for me is not looking, it's feeling. If you can't feel what you're looking at, then you're never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures." I truly FEEL when I take photos. I can't help but to get just a little emotional knowing that I am capturing moments in an artistic way that my clients and their family will have to look back on for generations. I live to see the reaction and the smile on my clients faces when they see their images for the first time!
